Emerging Educational Technologies Graduate School of Education: t561 Fall 2008 Christopher Dede This course describes a broad spectrum of current leading-edge research in educational technology. Hands-on experiences with emerging educational applications depict how the affordances of information technology (e.g., supporting distributed cognition, situated learning, sophisticated pattern recognition, multisensory immersion, modeling, and visualization) can aid the learning process.
